Folsom Arts Association

Ars Longa Design created a site for the Folsom Arts Association to use
in promoting the area's fine artists, as well as other regional arts
organizations.

Like all of our sites, theirs is managed by the staff, and they are
free to create as many pages and add whatever images, text, and links
they need to get their message across.

The Folsom Arts Association started in spring of 2003, with a mission to promote, educate and support the visual arts in Folsom.

Members hold a monthly lecture series every third Wednesday of the month beginning at 6:30 pm at the American Visions Gallery on Sutter Street in historic Folsom.

Guest artists from surrounding areas either demonstrate or lecture on their style of art at each meeting.

Vicke Christensen - Personal Coach

Vicke Christensen of Christensen Consulting and Coaching had us develop a web site for her rapidly expanding coaching business.

The focus of our company is two-fold. Our foundation is in human resources and organizational development. We primarily work with small and medium companies as well as entrepreneurial ventures to improve business performance and increase employee engagement. We often find that while partnering with our clients on various organizational issues or initiatives, we also simultaneously engage in professional coaching --one on one confidential coaching sessions with executives, managers and individual contributors who want to accomplish a wide range of individual goals.

Vicke is an organizational development consultant and executive coach with a passion for helping people succeed in their professional and personal lives. As a former corporate executive with over 15 years experience, her expertise includes executive and management coaching, recruiting and career planning, change management, teambuilding, succession planning and leadership development. She has also worked with individuals to set and achieve new goals such as work/life balance, managing time, managing stress, resolving conflict and building relationships. By building trusted partnerships, Vicke is able to help clients define success, create action plans and achieve new personal and organizational goals.

Prior to opening her own consulting and coaching business, Vicke gained experience in public relations, recruiting and staffing, diversity, human resources and organizational development. She has also worked as a business analyst and project manager. She spent nearly two years as a Human Resources Director for a Fortune 20 company, with responsibility for teams in both North and South America.

Vicke has a Bachelor's Degree in Human Relations from Golden Gate University, a Masters' Degree in Human Resources & Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco and a coaching certification from the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching. She has previously worked for Hewlett Packard, McDonnell Douglas and the U.S. Government. Vicke is a member of the International Coaches Federation, Sacramento Coaches Association, the Sacramento Human Resources Association and eWomenNetwork. She was recently selected as one of 10 premier coaches for eWomenNetwork. She has developed and presented workshops to various groups and organizations on a variety of topics including: Attracting & Retaining Top Level Talent; Self-Care: The Energy that Feeds Professional Women; Discovering Your Values and Making Value Based Decisions.

Since everything is energy, there is nothing that Reiki energy cannot heal. Gypsy Wynd Healing Center launched

Just launced Cerise La Core's Gypsy Wynd Healing Center web site.

Cerise is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Clayton College of Natural Health and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Health with a specialization in Homeopathy. She continues to work towards her Doctorate in Naturopathy and Certification in Iridology. She is available for Nutritional and Homeopathic consultations.

Cerise is a Certified Reiki Shihan (Teacher) and teaches both the Eastern Komyo Reiki and the Western traditional Usui System of Natural Healing. She is dedicated to the practice of the more traditional form of Reiki while encouraging incorporating it with other modalities, and believes strongly that all of life should be a striving towards achieving balance in all things with a light-heart and a smile on your face.

In addition to practicing and teaching Reiki, Cerise also maintains a very, busy massage therapy practice in Roseville and is experienced in many different and varied forms of massage therapy. She is dedicated to bringing body, mind and spirit into balance in order to facilitate healing in a gentle, non-invasive way. Cerise is a well-trained, professional Medical Massage Therapist as well as Therapeutic Massage Therapist and has many years of experience working with injured clients. She works closely with local Chiropractors, MD's and Neurologists helping their patients to achieve comfort, relieve pain and return to a state of wellness as quickly as possible

Cerise has been an intuitive and an animal communicator since childhood. She has worked closely with Dr. Christine Mattson (a well-known homeopathic veterinarian) as well as with A.A.A.R.F. (Auburn Area Animal Rescue Foundation), specializing in behavioral problems and finding lost animals.

She is also Certified in Equine Massage therapy and is available to offer treatment whether your animal companion meows, barks, whinnies, hisses, sings or squawks.

Cerise has studied Hawaiian and Native American Shamanism with Anthropologist and Author, Dr. Hank Wesselman, Native American Artist, Author and Shaman, Stan Padilla, and Geologist and Shamanic Teacher, John Livingston, and is well versed in many forms of energy work.
